2004 Kangarilla Road McLaren Vale Zinfandel
One of the very few plantings of this Californian red variety in Australia, the vines on our small vineyard in McLaren Vale are 30 years old.
Our 2004 Zinfandel is the result of extensive crop management in the vineyard. Crop thinning and bunch trimming techniques employed during the growing season allowed for optimum ripeneing of the fruit.
The grapes were harvested in April and fermented in traditional open fermenters. The wine was matured for 14 months in one-year old French barriques (225 litres)

| Colour: | Dark, dense crimson |
| Bouquet: | Opulent upfront fruit aromas of dark fruitcake, berries, exotic spice and white pepper. |
| Palate: | Big and rich with loads of ripe fresh and dried fruit characters spicy acidity (briary) and a long integrated finish. |
