2004 Kangarilla Road Shiraz

2004 vintage was a longer season than usual with cool conditions during ripening.

The wine is matured in a combination of French and American oak complimented with an even mix of 1,2,3, and 4 year old oak.

The majority of this wine is from our McLaren Flat vineyards with fruit coming from Blewitt Springs, Seaview and Sellicks districts of McLaren Vale.

The Kangarilla Road 2004 Shiraz is drinking well now and will continue to do so for the next three to five years however the length and intensity of fruit on the palate together with the abundance of soft tannins will allow for cellaring of up to 8 years.
