We have some dozens of older wines that we are calling Pot Luck, or Lucky Dip or Odds and Sods but, on second thoughts, they not very respectful names for the aged gorgeousness of these wines. Maybe Aged Gorgeousness is a better name. We have a couple of vintages of Montepulciano, Shirazes (Devils Whiskers, Blanche Point, Alluvial Fans et al) of different ages and styles, a bit of Cabernet and, you know, just basic Aged Gorgeousness. A dozen mix of varieties and vintages for only $300 – that is $25 a bottle.
